- Your membership runs to the end of the month you've already paid for. Nothing more is charged after that.
- If you built with us, the website or app stays yours. Only the ongoing briefing, reports and care hours stop.
- Change your mind later? Start again with a new month, no reapplication and no rejoining fee.

Before you ask.
Do you do my tax return?
No. Your accountant still prepares and files your returns with IRD. We show you your numbers every month so nothing is a surprise at year end, and we're happy to work alongside your accountant.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Email hello@myceo.co.nz before your next billing date and your membership stops at the end of the month you've paid for. There's no minimum term, no notice period beyond that, and no cancellation fee.
When is my billing date?
The date you joined each month. For example, if you join on 12 October 2026, your next charge is 12 November 2026. Your monthly bank export, briefing and reports run on the same monthly cycle regardless of your billing date.
What do I keep if I stop my membership?
If you paid for a website or app build, it's yours either way, hosted in your business's name. Stopping a membership only stops the ongoing Monthly CEO Briefing, Ask-an-Accountant reports and any website care hours.
Do I need a membership for my website?
No. Pay for the build in full and the website is yours. We launch it on hosting in your business's name and hand over every login. Want changes later? They're $95 an hour, quoted first, or add a membership any time.
Who owns my website and app?
You do, once the build is paid in full. Your domain, app store listings and business accounts are in your business's name from the start, and your content and data are always yours. Copyright in the design, code and content we create passes to you in writing when the build fee is paid in full. Until then, you have full use of it. If you ever leave, we hand everything over within 14 days.
What do I send each month?
Your business bank export as a CSV or Excel file, emailed to hello@myceo.co.nz by the 1st. Most New Zealand banks let you download it in under a minute, and we'll show you how the first time. Please never send passwords or card numbers by email.
How does my first month actually run?
You email us your most recent bank export by the 1st. We turn it into your written Monthly CEO Briefing by the 5th. You get two Ask-an-Accountant reports to use whenever you need them that month, and, on Essential, Growth or Partner, your website care hours are available from day one.
What can I ask an accountant, and what do I get back?
Anything about your briefing or running the business: pricing, staff costs, a lease, tax, cash flow. One topic is one question. Our accountant spends around 30 minutes on it, checks your figures and the rules, and sends a full written report within three working days: our answer, why, the numbers worked through, your options compared, next steps and what to confirm with your accountant. Extra reports are $120 each.
Can I phone you?
We work by email on purpose. Every question, answer, price and decision is then on record for you and for us, which matters when it's your money and your tax. Replies come within one working day, and urgent website problems are fixed the same working day, where the problem is within our control.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, in writing, any time. Move up or down a plan from your next billing date. There's no fee to switch and no proration to work out.
What if I want to leave?
Tell us in writing before your next billing date, by email to hello@myceo.co.nz. We confirm it in writing and don't charge you again. The month you've already paid for runs to its end, and there's no exit fee. When your membership ends, we hand everything over within 14 days. Full leaving terms
What's the founding client offer?
Our first ten clients get 20% off their website, app or bundle build and 20% off their first three months of membership. After that, your membership runs month to month at the standard price, and you can stop any time before your next billing date. In return, you agree in writing that we can show your project as a case study, and we ask for an honest review after launch. We never ask for a positive review, we publish only what you write, and we label it as a founding client review that received a founding discount. Because of the discount, please don't post it on Google or other review sites. Places go in the order Build Orders are signed.
Is this financial advice?
No. The briefing is a written summary of your own numbers from your bank export, checked and signed off by our founder, who is a CPA. It's management reporting and general information about your own business, not regulated financial advice and not a tax return, and we don't recommend financial products or investments. Your accountant still handles your returns.
